“The agreement between Croatia and Republika Srpska (RS) for the supply from the gas and oil refinery in Bosanski Brod is an ‘uncomfortable surprise’ that bypasses the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a Chairman of the Council of Minister Denis Zvizdic has said.

The protocol on gas from the refinery was signed by Croatian Minister of Environment and Energy Tomislav Coric and Petar Djokic, the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining in order to solve the problem of air pollution in Slavonski Brod.

‘Unfortunately, Croatia has decided to not take into account the constitutional jurisdiction of state institutions in the field of foreign policy and international agreements and documents in order to sign a protocol with the constitutionally incompetent institutions of RS, which represents only one entity in the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina,’ said Zvizdic.” (translated from Vecernji List)
