“Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic today called ‘German friends’ to hear what Serbia is thinking and wants before deciding on Serbia even though it is the final decision on them, while the German Foreign Ministry envoy Christian Helbach said the European Union (EU) is not complete without the countries of the Western Balkans.

Vucic at the ceremony of placing the weather capsule in the foundations of the new building of the German Embassy in Belgrade said that Serbia wants to be part of the European Union (EU), but that it must change itself and its own habits.

‘I could speak to Helbach about the rule of law and the fact that some EU members are at a lower level than Serbia and even economically, but this is not something we would be satisfied with,’ said Vucic and stressed that Serbia should change its mind on its own budgets.” (translated from Danas)
