“Serbia will help municipalities in Republika Srpska in the amount of five million euros ($6.13 million), Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced today.

This is a new aid, and the president announced this at a joint press conference with the President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, after the meeting of the state top of Serbia and Srpska.

Vucic emphasized that, in line with the Serbia and RS Special Ties Act, he discussed with Dodik the further support Serbia could provide to the people in the RS.

‘We agreed that in the next municipalities we will help in the total amount of EUR 5 million, which is a new tranche of Serbia’s assistance to RS citizens, Bratunac, Zvornik, Istočna Ilidza, Višegrad, Novo Goražde, Trebinje, and then within the Federation of BiH, the assistance of 500,000 euros ($613,818) for the reconstruction and construction of Orthodox temples,’ he explained.” (translated from RTV)
