“The biggest surprise for Montenegrin soldiers at the NATO exercise ‘Trident Juncture,’ which is held in Norway, are low temperatures, but nevertheless they are trained to fight in winter conditions, said Lt. VCG Nikola Popovic. Foreign media reported that during the exercise, the temperature dropped to – 40 degrees Celsius (-40 degrees Fareneheit).

‘As a new NATO ally here we are preparing for the winter conditions,’ Popovic pointed out. He recalled that Montenegrin soldiers are keeping peace in Afghanistan as well.

‘We will be in Latvia, wherever we are needed by NATO,’ said Lieutenant Popovic.” (translated from RTCG)
