US Congressman Ted Poe, R-Texas, has returned from a trip to Serbia where he met with President Aleksandar Vučić, Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić. Poe spoke to the Voice of America’s Serbian services and cited terrorism as a major key for stronger relations between the US and Serbia. Serbia continues to maintain neutrality, refusing to sanction Russia. “I appreciate Serbia’s position of being a neutral country, but we should be concerned of the Russian ‘bear’ looking for more places to gobble up, and the Balkans may be one of those places,” Poe commented.
