“US Admiral James Foggo, commander of the NATO Joint Operations Command in Naples, met today with representatives of the Slovenian Armed Forces and the political summit in Slovenia. In his talks with STA, he expressed satisfaction with today’s meetings and praised Slovenia for its contribution to the Alliance. Foggo said that only the strengthening of the defense budget is lacking.
‘Slovenia has done a lot to support the Alliance, with six to seven per cent of your army abroad on NATO missions or EU missions. Your ship Triglav has just returned from Operation Sophia in the Mediterranean,’ said James Foggo during a visit to Slovenia.” (translated from Sio1)
