“Kosovo President, Hashim Thaci, received on Tuesday ambassadors of the Quint (US, UK, Germany, France, and Italy) as well as the Head of EU Office in Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova, asking their support on the dialogue with Serbia. The opposition in Kosovo is disputing Thaci’s leading role in dialogue saying that this is in violation with the Constitution.

The President of Kosovo in a press release announced that he met US Ambassador Greg Delawie, British Ambassador Ruairi O’Connell, French Ambassador Didier Chabert, German Deputy Ambassador Jan-Axel Voss, Italian Ambassador Piero Cristoforo Sardi, as well as the Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova, asking their support in the dialogue with Serbia. The President confirmed that he got the support of Quint. But Thaci’s representation as the head of Kosovo’s delegation in high level political dialogue with Serbia is being disputed by opposition parties and he got no approval from the Parliament to launch the final phase of the dialogue.” (Gazeta Express)
