“Kosovo President, Hashim Thaci met on Tuesday Austrian Chancellor, Sebastian Kurz. After the meeting Thaci said that Austria supports Kosovo’s membership into Interpol, visa free regime and the dialogue with Serbia.
President Thaci said that Austria which is expected to take voer the EU presidency will support Kosovo’s membership in Interpol, and visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens into the EU Schengen area. According to Thaci visa liberalisation will happen after Kosovo has fulfilled all 95 benchmarks of the European Commission. ‘Austria will support the final phase of the EU-facilitated dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia which is expected to start at the end of June or beginning of July at the time Austria takes over the EU’s presidency,’ Thaci said.” (Gazeta Express)
