“Today’s official visit of the Prime Minister of Slovenia  Miro Cerar in Macedonia deepens the traditionally good relations between the two countries, which shared decades of common destiny in Yugoslavia.

After the visit of Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev to Ljubljana in November last year, Cerar is launching similar topics in Skopje, but new circumstances, as Macedonia is moving closer to resolving the key obstacle on the path to NATO membership and the EU – the name of the country – while Slovenia grants it all the moral and technical support.

After the talks in Skopje, the Slovenian and Macedonian prime ministers pointed out good and friendly relations between the states at all levels. Cerar assured that Slovenia will continue to support Macedonia in its efforts to join the EU and NATO, as it sees an important partner and ally in it.” (translated from Delo)
