With Presidential elections on October 22nd fast approaching, the campaign has grown increasingly nasty. Opposition leader Janez Jansa used Facebook to launch a scathing attack on incumbent Borut Pahor. Jansa suggested that previously as Prime Minister Pahor did nothing to investigate whether Slovenia’s biggest state owned bank, Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), laundered over $118B breaking international sanctions.
