“The UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) started its first session under the Slovenian presidency in Geneva on Monday, chaired by Slovenia’s permanent representative to the UNHRC Vojislav Šuc. Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec will attend a high-profile meeting as part of the session on Tuesday.

Erjavec will present Slovenia’s views and positions regarding topical issues related to human rights globally. He will hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the session, including with UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Prince Zeid bin Ra’ad, the Foreign Ministry has said in a press release.

After the high-level meeting, the UNHRC will continue discussion at the working level, including a high-profile panel on the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.” (Slovenia Times)
