Former Ambassador to the US, and current Montenegrin Foreign Minister Dr. Srdjan Darmanović met with his Serbian counterpart, Ivica Dačić, in Belgrade today to discuss regional stability and the goal integration of the Western Balkans into the European Union. They spoke about regional interests including their “historical, geographical, cultural, and political turning to each other” according to a statement released by the Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Furthermore, the Montenegrin offered continued support to the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina. Dr. Darmanović also caught up with the Swedish and Finnish Foreign Ministers, Margot Wallström and Timo Soini  who are currently on a tour of the Balkans making stops in Macedonia, Kosovo, and Serbia.
