Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić has stated that, “Serbia can see better relations with America only if it focuses on Trump and his administration. When I say that, I mean Tillerson and Pence, not the State Department, because people who wrote everything that happened in the past 20 to 30 years still work in the State Department. They will not change their minds even by an iota.” He has urged greater direct contact with the Trump administration, including Vice President Pence and Secretary of State Tillerson.
Dačić added that he believes the tides have turned in the world outlook on Pristina-Belgrade discussions. “According to him, “the picture has changed” and Kosovo is “no longer the favorite of the international community” – while Serbia is ‘no longer seen as ‘the bad guy’.”(InSerbia)
