“US Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) said on Monday that Washington does not want to impose a solution for the Kosovo issue but wants to support Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

Johnson told a joint new conference after his meeting with Vucic that the Serbian president should be given more space to reach a flexible solution with Pristina.

The senator said that everyone in Washington, including President Donald Trump and State Secretary Mike Pompeo, understand the importance of a solution to the Kosovo problem.” (N1)

“US Senator Ron Johnson met in Belgrade on Monday with Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release.

Johnson, who chairs the Senate Commiteee on Homeland Security and the Subcommittee on Europe and Regional Security Cooperation, is in Serbia as part of a regional tour of the Western Balkans which includes visits to Kosovo and Macedonia.” (N1)
