“The Croatian Prime Minister was in Germany on Tuesday where on the second day of his working visit there he met with the German Chancellor in Berlin.
Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and German Chancellor Angela Merkelannounced after their meeting that over the next couple of months Croatia and Germany will sign an action plan on the strengthening political, economic and cultural ties. Prime Minister Plenković emphasized that Germany is Croatia’s leading partner in terms of foreign trade.
“What is important is that we take advantage of this positive atmsphere that exists on the political level between our two countries, that we structure our cooperation. At today’s meeting with a number of important German business leaders I saw that there is an interest to further investments among those who are already in Croatia. German companies in Croatia have generated some 80 thousand jobs. There are those interested, especially in the energy sector, in further greenfield investements, and we will continue to work on that,” Plenković said.” (Voice of Croatia)
