At the beginning of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UN) in New York yesterday, President Borut Pahor also addressed the speaker’s table, expressing Slovenia’s firm support for multilateralism, the rule of law and human rights. After the speech, he also answered the journalist’s question why, although he spoke on the respect of international law, he did not talk about the arbitration agreement.

‘No state will benefit if it only seeks to promote its interests,’ Pahor said, calling on countries to consolidate multilateralism as the only way to safeguard peace and security for future generations.” (translated from Sio1)
