“The leaders of the Western Balkan countries agreed at a conference held in the framework of the World Economic Forum in Davos that this year represents one of the key to the European perspective of the region and that it is a prerequisite for the progress of the region and a greater level of mutual understanding. ‘In the closed conference, in addition to the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dusko Markovic, the Presidents of Serbia and Kosovo, Aleksandar Vucic and Hashim Thaci, Prime Ministers of Albania and Macedonia, Edi Rama and Zoran Zaev, and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Zvizdic, concluded that the EU’s strategy for the Western Balkans, which is expected to be released in early February, is a solid confirmation of the European perspective of the region,’ the government said.
