Foreign Minister Srdjan Darmanovic met in Tokyo on the first day of his official visit to Japan with Kazuhiko Kosikava, Executive Vice President of the Japan International Development Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Darmanović emphasized the importance of intensive cooperation between Montenegro and the JICA and thanked for the implementation of technical training and seminars in Japan in the fields of tourism, anti-corruption, air transport, water supply systems, development of small and medium enterprises, environmental protection, promotion of foreign investments, promotion in industry , as well as sending Japanese experts and equipment donations. On this line, he expressed Montenegro’s interest in further strengthening cooperation with Japan, especially with regard to the planning and implementation of projects in other countries.” (translated from RTCG)
