“Montenegro will intensify further reforms after the completion of the electoral cycle, the results of which confirmed the citizens’ majority commitment to the European path of the country, said the President of the Assembly, Ivan Brajovic.

He met with Bundestag President Wolfgang Schäuble, with whom he discussed numerous issues of interest for the future of Montenegro and the European Union (EU).

Interlocutors, as announced from Brajovic’s Cabinet, discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation with accent on the role of parliaments in diplomatic and economic relations between Germany and Montenegro.

Brajovic, who is in Berlin for the occasion of the annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PS), said he had the opportunity to share the mutual satisfaction with the good relations of the two parliaments.

‘It is important that we raise the intensity of our relationships, and by establishing a group of friendships, we have created for this basic assumption. I am sure that in the continuation of our European path, in Germany we have strong support as we had during the NATO integration process,’ Brajovic said after the meeting.” (translated from RTCG)
