“The current cooperation with NATO and the preparations undertaken by Macedonia within the accession process for membership in the Alliance were a topic of discussion between the Head of the Macedonian Diplomacy Nikola Dimitrov and the Deputy NATO Secretary General, Rose Gothomoler.

At the meeting in Brussels, Minister Dimitrov addressed the current situation in the country, the preparations for the upcoming referendum and the implementation of the reforms.

‘Thank you for the invitation for accession negotiations for the Republic of Macedonia at the Summit in July. We are determined to walk along the road to the membership we have drawn 25 years ago. We will finish this unfinished historical mission, in the interest of the stability and prosperity of the Republic of Macedonia, the stability of the Balkans and the stability of Europe,’ said Dimitrov.” (translated from Nova Makedonija)
