“The heads of diplomats of Macedonia and Greece, Nikola Dimitrov and Nikos Kotzias, separately decided to brief prime ministers and political party leaders on the outcome of the meetings in Vienna with Nimetz.
Although Dimitrov was originally expected to do that for leadership in Skopje, he decided individual working meetings would be better. Today he started with Prime Minister Zaev who said he was optimistic after the last round of negotiations in Vienna and that a solution to the dispute could be found.
‘I am informed, I had a one-hour meeting with Minister Dimitrov and I know all the details. I’m glad I can confirm that there is a positive step forward. I am more optimistic after Dimitrov’s meeting with Kotzias in Vienna under the leadership of the mediator Matthew Nimetz,’ said Zoran Zaev, President of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia.
He also met with Speaker of Parliament Xhaferi and on the agenda there are also meetings with the leader of VMRO-DPMNE Miskovski and President Ivanov.” (translated from 24 Vesti)
