“President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović was on a one day visit to Bulgaria today. In Sofia, she met with President Rumen Radev, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and Parliament Speaker Tsveta Karayancheva.

President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović said that the policy of dialogue is the only path to relations between Russia and Western countries. She mentioned the issues of international security, terrorism, radicalization and other threats that the two blocks face. She emphasized that important components are also economic interests and that she will always advocate opening new markets for the Croatian economy. President Grabar-Kitarović also warned that Moscow is one of those responsible for implementing peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina. ‘We have a series of issues that we are currently resolving: Agrokor, polluted air in Slavonski Brod. I believe that the Russian side will express readiness for a continuation of talks. Croatia stood in solidarity with the EU on the issue of expelling diplomats. I fully understand the response by the Russian side and its political substance, but also the message that was sent. I hope that this is also a message of a desire for further cooperation on the issues I mentioned,’ said the President.” (Voice of Croatia)
