“President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović is on a three day official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina during which she will visit Sarajevo and Central Bosnia and, for the first time, Bosanska Posavina. This is the second official visit by the Croatian president to Bosnia and Herzegovina following her first in March 2015 at the very beginning of her mandate.
Following a meeting with the chairman and members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Dragan Čović, Bakir Izetbegović and Mladen Ivanić, Čović and the president addressed the public. Dragan Čović said that he believes that Bosnia and Herzegovina deserves further attention from the president of the Republic of Croatia and her administration. ‘I am convinced that everything you have done until now was in the interest of strengthening relations between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina,’ he said, adding that there is much room for strengthening economic cooperation as well as transport and energy connection between the two countries. He said that Bosnia and Herzegovina must resolve its internal relations alone and Croatia should be a partner in this.” (Voice of Croatia)
