Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina reported a major disruption in a smuggling ring on the Croatian border. Taking place between October 11th and 13th, the police arrested 15 people including a trafficker holding a UK passport and nearly $20,000 cash. Among others, Libyan and Pakistan nationals were being trafficked into the EU. Overall, there has been a 350% increase since 2016 in smuggling along the “Balkan Route”. (Translated from Index.HR)
