“After the resignation of Miro Cerar and possible dates of early elections, Slovenia will be without a government with all the powers for at least one hundred days. The longest time we (Slovenia) waited for a new government promising resignation was after Alenka Bratusek, at 133 days.
Miro Cerar became the third prime minister last week to resign as prime minister. Alenka Bratusek and Janez Drnovsek did this prior to him.
Cerar decided to resign following a decision by the Supreme Court on a referendum on another track. After the mandates of Janez Jansa, Borut Pahor and Bratusek, this is the fourth consecutive prime minister, who will not carry out his mandate until the end.” (translated from Sio1)
