“The Ministry of Finance is expected to sign today the loan of 71 million euro ($83.64 million) with the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) aimed at co-financing the construction of a 31 km highway section linking Pristina with Peja.

The agreement will be signed by the Minister of Finances Bedri Hamza, and the EBRD Director for Transport Due Barrett, the Ministry of Finances has announced. The highway section is part of the road network linking Kosovo’s capital city of Pristina with the city of Peje, the administrative and economic centre of Kosovo’s western region. The estimated value of the entire project is 189.2 million euro ($222.85 million). Construction works are expected to last around two years and a half.” (Gazeta Express)
