“Foreign Ministers of Macedonia and Greece Nikola Dimitrov and Nikos Kodzias met with mediator Matthew Nimetz for more than three hours in Vienna. For now, there is no information whether after the talks, the ministers and Nimetz will make statements or a press release will be issued to the foreign ministries.
This is the third round of renewed negotiations between the two countries to resolve the almost three decades of name dispute in Macedonia. Negotiations are being held for the first at a high level since Prime Ministers Zoran Zaev and Alex Tspipras met in Davos last month.
Dimitrov and Kodzias held a meeting in Vienna yesterday, in which they reconciled positions before today’s meeting with Nimetz. There is no information whether the draft agreement will be discussed at today’s meeting, announced by Kodzias in mid-February.” (translated from Nova Makedonija)
