“Prime Minister Andrej Plenković wrapped up his five-day visit to China by attending a Croatian-Chinese Business Forum in Shanghai.

The forum gathered representatives from 30 Croatian, and more than 130 Chinese, companies to discuss future economic cooperation. The prime minister presented Croatia’s excellent geostrategic position and membership in the EU as a gateway to Europe’s single market of half-a-billion people.

The prime minister mentioned the Pelješac Bridge, a project being led by a Chinese state-owned construction company, as a springboard for more investment and cooperation in infrastructure projects of strategic importance.” (Voice of Croatia)
