“Prime Minister Andrej Penković held a press conference Wednesday about the situation in Agrokor after Ante Ramljak resigned as the extraordinary commissioner.
‘As you know, a few weeks ago, some information on the engagement of certain subcontractors came out to the public, which caused the public’s interest and demanded additional information from the superintendent.
At this point, the key message that I want to send to Agrokor employees, suppliers and creditors is that the extraordinary bidding process goes on, the settlement process goes on, and Agrokor works normally with all companies so that the Government of Croatia, at this moment, is conducting consultations to propose to the Commercial Court the appointment of an extraordinary administration. In the meantime Ramljak will continue his work as it has been so far.'” (translated from N1)
