“Economy Minister Martina Dalić met with Iranian officials to discuss strengthening bilateral economic cooperation during an official visit to Iran, the Economy Ministry said in a statement released on Monday.

Minister Dalić met with Iran’s Vice President Mohammad Bagher Nobakht, Economy and Finance Minister Masoud Karbasian and Central Bank Governor Valiollah Seif.

According to the ministry, the meetings focused on improving economic cooperation “with special emphasis on establishing payment operations.”

A number of Croatian companies are doing business in Iran and Minister Dalić said she was pleased that they were welcomed by the country, the statement said.

The Iranian government and businesses are prepared to cooperate, according to Dalić.” (Voice of Croatia)
