The United States has gifted one loader, two freight motor vehicles, and two water-purification systems to the Croatian Ministry of Defense that can be used in Croatia, or in peacekeeping missions across the globe. US Ambassador Julieta Valls Noyes presented the $1.5 million donation on Monday with Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Damir Krsticevic in attendance. Ambassador Noyes emphasized the United States’ strategic partnership with the country on the Adriatic and how she was pleased that Croatia is better equipped for readiness in peacekeeping missions and natural disasters.
