“The United States Government will present and handover a donation of engineering equipment and tacitcal systems for purification of water, the Ministry of Defense reports. The Armed Forces (of Croatia) will receive two freight motor vehicles and two water purification systems. The National Federation of Croatians in America held their annual “40 under 40 awards” on November 2nd at the Croatian Embassy in Washington DC. Winners included Filip Pirsl, Julia Jaksic, and Alexander Salopek. Ambassador Pjer Simunovic was in attendance and gave a speech on Croatian National Security. (NFCA, Twitter)

“Good news for Bryan Adams fans in Croatia as the Canadian star will be in the Croatian capital next week performing a one-off concert. Adams will play at Arena Zagreb on November 9th as part of his Get Up Tour series.  The legendary musician, who had a number of big hits like ‘Summer of 69’, ‘I do it for you’ and ‘Run to you’, kicked off the European leg of his tour in July.
