“A rally against scaremongering in political campaigning will be held in Ljubljana to drive home the message that ‘the worst historical horrors began with organised inciting of hatred.’ Filip Dobranić, one of the organisers, believes that this message is crucial ahead of the Sunday general election.

A ‘broad, informal and open coalition of individuals and civil initiatives’ has joined forces under the No Fear Coalition banner because they do not accept the politics of hatred, said Rina Pleteršek of the Iskra (Spark) student organisation.

Vesna Leskošek, the dean of the Ljubljana Faculty of Social Work, said the rally was aimed at pointing out to parties competing in the election that people want non-authoritarian politics and hateless public debate.” (Slovenia Times)
