“Today is a great day for Trogir and Čiovo – a bridge between Čiovo and the mainland was opened that should resolve traffic congestion during the tourist season. The bridge is 547 metres long, 13.5 metres wide and 6 metres in height.
‘In the name of the government I am satisfied to open this bridge that has for decades been a hope, yearning and great ambition for people from Čiovo and Trogir. This will significantly quicken the flow of people and enable a portion of Split to live in a better manner,’ said Prime Minister Andrej Plenković. He thanked Croatian Roads and the Strabag Company for everything done. ‘This is a great event for Čiovo,’ he noted.” (Voice of Croatia)
