“BiH Member of the Presidency Dragan Čović met in Zagreb with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vice President of the Government of the Republic of Croatia Marija Pejčinović-Burić.
At the meeting, the European perspective and the current political situation in BiH were discussed. Opinions on the activities related to the recent implementation of several joint EU projects aimed at the development of closer cooperation have been exchanged.
Covic said on this occasion that the current trade exchange between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia exceeds EUR 2 billion, which is an excellent indicator of the continuous strengthening of economic relations.
At the end of the meeting, Covic congratulated Plenkovic on the beginning of the construction of the Pelješac Bridge, saying that it is currently the largest and most important project in this area. Its full significance will only be shown in the future, because it is a project of supranational importance that not only links the territory of the Republic of Croatia, but also the region of the wider region and the European Union.” (translated from N1)
