“‘Europe has no unified response to the challenge of migration which is why it is necessary to better connect in terms of security and guard the safety of borders, which is a prerequisite for economic development,’ said President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović in Zadar.

President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović visited Zadar and its Arbanasi village today in the company of Albanian President Ilir Meta, who is on a working visit to Croatia.

Arbanasi were Albanians who migrated to the Zadar area in the 18th century. A portion of the city that Grabar-Kitarović and Meta visited today is also named after them.” (Voice of Croatia)
